Investment paid by Credit Card?

Numbers of merchants, who claim to offer consumers investment plan (products) are on a raise. There are companies that sell wine, health supplement and beauty product. In order to sell their products better, they pack their products as an investment plan.

Take an example, A Fine Wine Investment Company, they claim that you can make a profit of up to 40% in a year. Furthermore, they claim that they don't make any profit from the sale. (What a lie, how the company being able to pay their employees).

Besides, the company even let consumers (So called Investor) to use credit card to make payment. What about the credit card company fee?

In my opinion, any transaction that involves credit card is not any invesment. With an installment plan for an investment is probably a sales technique to sell products better. why? Because beside credit card processing fee charge by the bank/credit card company. Which an agreement has been signed between merchant and bank, not to transfer this charge to consumer.

Therefore, merchant would need to absorb it. Moreover, with an installment plan, there is an addition charge of 9% to the merchant.

So when someone wants to sell you the an idea of using credit card to buy an investment, think again. (Can you use credit card to pay for your bokerage fee and Unit trust?)
